Crystal Works Rebranding

Posted in Business, Crystal Works by Florin on Apr. 30th 2008 @ midnight

It’s almost 2 years now since we’ve launched our first presentation web site and we thought it’s time for a reboot. The first version was built pretty much in a rush because right from the start we had been busy building our clients’ web sites—it was also among our first symfony powered applications—and although, IMHO, not really a bad product, I thought it was the time to present something better.

The new version, besides the obvious visual differences, is also setting a mark for some development strategy shifts on our side:

  • Embracing web 2.0
  • Extend our services by providing Python & Django powered applications development
  • Focus on fully standards compliant and SEOed web sites
  • Constant (and hopefully quality) blog posts publishing

Here’s a glimpse of what CW 1.0 looked like:

I love these ground-level shots. This reminds me of a skip that was parked on my street in Southminster for months and months, slowly accumulating graffiti and take-away boxes, but no actual debris. Great colors in this one. Posted 4 months ago. ( permalink )
