    I've just stumbled upon KnickerPicker on the del.icio.us popular homepage and despite the web site's obvious (as in sexy) interestingness, I think this is what user experience should be all about.

    If you've found yourself in the position of having to buy a gift for your girlfriend/wife and shopping for female lingerie seemed too awkward, or you didn't feel like trusting the classical online catalogs presentation, this might come to your help.

  • JavaScript Fun

    What some people manage to achieve with just JavaScript never ceases to amaze me. After first seeing the DHTML Lemmings a while go, I've come across the 14kB Mario, a couple of weeks ago, and today found out there's even a JS Mario Kart.

  • Miracles Happen

    In a brief press release, Orange Romania announced today that its parent company just signed an agreement with Apple for bringing the iPhone to Romania, Austria, Belgium, The Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Poland, Portugal, The Slovak Republic, Swizerland and the African countries covered by the mobile company.

  • Deploying a Django website on Ubuntu@SliceHost

    For hosting this web site I've signed up for a SliceHost 256MB VPS slice. The price is unbeatable among the VPS hosting providers ($20/month) and even better than this, SH slices support the recently released Ubuntu Hardy Heron (Yay!) :D.

    I've chosen to have my Django app served by Apache2 and mod_python (static resources included) and rely on PostgreSQL 8 for the DB side. ...

  • Crystal Works Rebranding

    It's almost 2 years now since we've launched our first presentation web site and we thought it's time for a reboot. The first version was built pretty much in a rush because right from the start we had been busy building our clients' web sites — it was also among our first symfony powered applications — and although, IMHO, not really a bad product, I thought it was the time to present something better.
